I had to get something out there, but I had no ability to launch anything into space. I had to learn to use the transporter, it was the only way.
Since the computers were still powered up after all these years I figured the power station the transporter was connected to must still be working.
I went to the main terminal to try and get a better understanding of the power level necessary to transport something into space. The power required was quite high, but it seems the power station had stopped running when the people had left this world.
Damn it. There must have been a way. If everyone left Terra Durom, they would have had to have enough power stored up to finish the last few transports without having anyone to run the station.
I went to the computer terminal that seemed to be the master for power output. From the looks of it, there was still enough power stored in capacitors for 4 transports. This must be what the control room had been running on all these years. I guess the people had finished their last transport with some sort of automatic function, since there would have been no one here to run the controls.
So the first step was done, we had enough power.
